Jiha Moon’s gestural paintings, mixed media, ceramic sculpture, and installations explore fluid identities and the global movement of people and their cultures. She says, “I am a cartographer of cultures and an icon maker in my lucid worlds.”

Abraham Onoriode Oghobase (b. 1979 in Lagos, Nigeria) is an artist based in Toronto, Canada. In his photography-based practice, he interrogates human existence and uncovers interior worlds through experimentation with the narrative and multisensory potential of images and objects, including archival materials.

Donald Lipski is a sculptor known for his poetic combining and altering of existing things and for his enigmatic installation works. 

Stephanie Syjuco works in photography, sculpture, and installation, moving from handmade and craft-inspired mediums to digital editing and archive excavations. Using critical wit and collaborative co-creation, her projects leverage open-source systems, shareware logic, and flows of capital, in order to investigate issues of economies and empire.

Paul Mpagi Sepuya is a Los Angeles-based artist working in photography and an Associate Professor in Media Arts at UC San Diego.

Alexis Rockman (American, born 1962) created this dramatic series depicting historic sea disasters to explore the impact of transportation and migration – from goods and people to plants and animals – on our planet and its waterways.

Ezra Wube (b., Ethiopia) is a mixed media artist who lives and works in New York. His work references the notion of past and present, the constant changing of place, and the dialogical tensions between "here" and "there".

Astria Suparak (she) is an artist, writer, and curator based in Oakland, California. Her cross-disciplinary practice often addresses urgent political issues and has been widely acclaimed for its high-level concepts made accessible through a popular culture lens.
