Antoine Williams (MFA alumnus) is an interdisciplinary artist who is heavily influenced by speculative fiction, critical Black studies and his working-class upbringing in Red Springs, North Carolina. His practice utilizes critical studies and the surreal to explore ways in which Black physical, mental, and emotional states of being exist within and subvert the status-quo.
