Cortez wanted to curate a small summer show from the submitted materials. Untitled, 2018 is an exhibition of ten objects, including at least one work by each artist. Cortez writes, “All 7 artists had singular works which were brilliant. Congratulations to the 7 candidates for their conceptually rich ideas and well manifested art.”

Diego Cortez is an American curator, art advisor, consultant, and author. In 1981, he curated the influential exhibition NEW YORK/NEW WAVE at PS1 (now MoMA PS1).
