For April and May of 2018 Lindsay Metivier will exhibit her artwork in the window box on the south side of the 100 block of Franklin Street next to Walgreens. This exhibition was held and promoted with the assistance of The Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership and The Town of Chapel Hill’s Community Arts & Culture staff.
Bio / Statement
Lindsay Metivier is a photographer and independent curator based in Carrboro, North Carolina. She holds an undergraduate degree from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and is the proprietor of Aviary Gallery, an exhibition space with a digital photography lab. She’s currently pursuing an MFA in Studio Art at UNC Chapel Hill in North Carolina. Her work has been shown most recently at The Ackland Art Museum, The John and June Allcott Gallery, The Front Gallery, Transmitter, Midway Artist Studios, Dorchester Art Project, and Stonecrop Gallery. Her work has been featured on The Heavy Collective, Humble Arts Foundation and A New Nothing.
