A. Nicole Bauguss’ MFA Thesis exhibition, eventually everything becomes: monumentmemorymetaphormyth , amalgamates a fractured landscape of architectural environments and sculpted vernacular objects of paper, wood, and metal to explore the complicated nature of gendered spaces and body politics. As a queer southern artist, Bauguss utilizes a process of constructing and deconstructing architecture as an engaged, critical framework for articulating assumptions, perspectives, and power dynamics through both memory and spectacle. Please join us for a Closing Reception and Pie Social on Friday April 12th, from 6-8pm.
